We’re now offering our classes in three study choices. Choose the class that’s right for you!
In Studio
The “In Studio” version of these classes allow you to learn face-to-face with a professional photographer or makeup artist at our studio. Ask questions as you go to assure you have a full understanding of the class material. In person training mixed with hands on lab work makes this the best way to take this class.
Live Video
If you can’t make it to the studio for in person learning, then this class is the next best thing. Learn using the class materials from online and weekly live video meetings with your mentor to get in-person training where you can get accurate answers to your questions remotely. Lab work is done on your time and submitted to your mentor who will discuss it with you during your weekly meetings.
Self Study
The “self Study” option is great for people that like to learn at their own pace, at home with all of the needed class material online. The lab work is done on your time and submitted to your mentor who will critique and advise you via email.
Current Classes
Digital Photography 1
This entry-level digital photography course is perfect for the absolute beginner or hobbyist looking to take better photographs. In this course you will learn the FUNDAMENTALS OF PHOTOGRAPHY. Learn to operate your camera in full manual and understand the exposure triangle. This introductory course covers Speed and how to use it to freeze motion or create long exposure photographs. In addition, you will learn how to manipulate depth of field (blurry background) by understanding how the aperture works. You will learn what ISO is and when to use it. And finally, students will understand what lenses to use for different situations. Our digital photography course provides a series of practical, creative and technical examples so that you feel comfortable and confident using your camera in full manual mode.
